The Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh had 44,760 men ready for military service—able-bodied men who could handle shield and sword, who could use a bow, and who were trained for battle. They waged war against the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish and Nodab. They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him. I Chronicles 5:18-20
1. Your natural and developed abilities that God has given you are intended to be used for Him. 2. When faced with a difficult situation, seek God’s purpose and strength. 3. God will answer your prayers when you put your full trust in Him.
Father, I come to you today reaffirming my complete and full trust in you. I ask that you will guide and direct me in the difficult situations that I face. Give me courage to do the right thing and confidence to take the next steps. In faith, I see the enemy defeated and complete victory in my circumstances. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but I will trust in the name of the Lord. Amen! Amen! Amen!
